Personal Note from Tommy

Many of my fellow agents refer to me as the "Resident Historian" because my family has been in this area for 5 generations.   Since I have been in business in this community for over 40 years,  I have seen it grow from two-lane roads to interstates, local farms are now upscale neighborhoods. 

The real estate market place is dynamic and should never be underestimated.   I have experience working with builders, finance companies, lawyers, local government zoning, etc and can make your purchase or sell much easier.   I specialize in new construction, pre-owned residential, and commercial property. 

There is no substitute for experience. Year after year I have been one of the areas top producers. As a result, there is no surprise that I am dedicated to the service and best interest of my clients.  My knowledge of the area combined with my experience, dedication, and drive has made me one of the top real estate sales associates in the Durham, Chapel Hill/Carrboro area. 

Being an excellent realtor requires numerous qualities and skills.   In my opinion, the most important is to know what you are selling.  I was born and raised here; I know the land and the people.  The second, is the ability to discover and address the different needs, wants, expectations, and concerns of buyers and sellers.  The third is multi-tasking.  In this business there is a tremendous amount of coordination between buyers, sellers, lenders, builders, etc.  You have to be able to adapt to change quickly and focus on numerous details at once.
